Flag of Oman

Have you ever wondered what does the flag of your country represent? Why these colors are chosen? What do the symbols indicate? Well for my country Oman, I know all about it. The national flag of Oman consists of three stripes (white, green and red) with a red bar on the left that contains the national emblem of Oman. The white stands for peace and prosperity, the green for fertility and the Green Mountains. Well who knows what changes could happen to the flag since this gorgeous moment of the 40th national day!
