Al-Hasan ibn ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib (الحسن بن علي بن أﺑﻲ طالب) (born in Ramadhān 15th, 3 AH) is an important figure in Islām, the son of Fātimah al-Zahraā (daughter of the Islamic prophet Muhammad) and of ‘Alī ibn Abī Tālib.. A member of Ahl al-Bayt (the household of Muhammad) and Ahl al-Kisa, Hasan was a Shī‘ah Imām and one of The Fourteen Infalliblesof the Shī‘ah Twelvers. Hasan is also known as Al-Mujtaba and Sibtil Akbar (the elder and the first grandson of Muhammad).
